Department of Energy Small Business Innovation Research and Small
Business Technology Transfer programs provide grant opportunities to small
businesses performing R&D in support of the DOE mission.
To date, DOE SBIR/STTR
programs have provided
funding to thousands of small U.
S.
businesses, including newly
established small businesses
across the country.

United, identified a gap in this program's
awareness initiative and partnered with the
DOE to be the bridge for Minority Business
Enterprises and Women Business
Enterprises.
Pathways United, led by Dr.
Alice Prince, created an
entrepreneurship support series
which literally walks a small business
owner through a tedious and tenuous
paperwork process to qualify for
SBIR/STTR awards.
Dr.
Alice Prince strategically assigns an
Entrepreneur Support Specialist to assist
small businesses with Sam.gov registration,
MBE/WBE certifications, and other beneficial
company designations that support the small
business advancement.
