This Children's Campaign Teaches Kids In
Orphanages Practical Cooking Skills
“Laughter is brightest where food is best.” Joey’s Food
Fight is spreading laughter and joy to children everywhere
by teaching them how to cook tasty, nutritious, affordable
meals.
Chef Joey Morelli is helping kids to provide for
themselves in the here and now and for years
into the future as they come of age to raise
families and serve their communities.
The campaign aims to lay a
basis for continuing food
education that is self-sustaining
and effective.
The campaign also involves promoting the
brand through a YouTube channel of
"edutainment" cooking videos where you
can become part of a loyal, supportive fan
base.
Joey has visited the Hope House
Orphanage in Cambodia, where he built
a kitchen and taught the kids and staff
how to prepare flavorful, affordable
meals.
Joey’s Food Fight aims to visit a
different orphanage in a different
country each year, empowering
youth worldwide with life skills to
support themselves and their
families.
Joey is a restaurant industry veteran who is
passionate about giving back to the community. As a
StandUp for Kids board member, he provides food to
teen shelters 3 times a week.
