Students who identify as female, or a
minority will be eligible to win one of
three scholarships up to $1,000 for
college tuition and expenses by
submitting an original, previously
unpublished essay on a topic set by
Biotech Primer.

backgrounds enter STEM professions and
has dedicated to providing resources to help
more women and minority students
breakthrough in the field of biotechnology.
How to Enter
Students are encouraged to submit an
essay on why they believe biotechnology
will change the future of therapeutics and
scientific endeavors. Essays should be no
more than 250 words and include a video
of 3 minutes or less detailing
accomplishments and interests.
Submission Details
The submissions will be evaluated based
on conciseness, originality, and
willingness to contribute to the field of
STEM. The scholarship is open to all
American citizens who are high school
seniors or who are enrolled in college or
university in the United States.
Who Qualifies
Entrants must be highly
academic and committed to
STEM pursuits. Stacey wants
more people from diverse
backgrounds to rise in the
STEM field.
