Think Air Purifiers, a company based in Saint Paul,
Minnesota, announces its expanded product selection.
The retailer now offers the
EnvironKlenz Mobile Unit Air
Purifier, which uses an
alternative non-carbon filtering
system.
With this product, you get a fast and cost-efficient way to
clean indoor air.
According to an independent study
conducted by GC-FID, the system
can remove up to 99% of volatile
organic compounds (VOCs) from
the air.
Most of the air filters sold today use activated carbon as a
filtering element because of its porous surface, which traps
gases and odors.
However, it is less effective at
capturing both inorganic
compounds and pollutants like
VOCs.
As such, EnvironKlenz utilizes a completely different filtering
cartridge to purify indoor air and protect your health.
Its filter relies on a proprietary
mineral blend of metal oxides that
enables the breakdown of all toxic
and noxious compounds.
This means that even pollutants like hydrogen sulfide —
which carbon filters may not neutralize — can be removed
from breathable air.
Moreover, the earth mineral filter
does not leak captured gases
back into the environment, even
if it is saturated.
You may also purchase a version of the unit with optional ultraviolet
(UV) lamps, which can kill pathogens such as bacteria and viruses.
This system provides dual
protection as particles are trapped
in the filter and decontaminated by
UV light afterward.
