Contributor Accounts
Do you wish to upload content to multiple edocr accounts? Or maybe you
want more than one person contributing content to your edocr account?
Perhaps you are a Marketing Company that wants to set up edocr Profiles
and manage content placement for your customers? With a Contributor
Account, you can securely associate your account with multiple edocr
profiles without sharing passwords.
edocr Premium Accounts allow up to 10 Contributors. You may Contribute
to an unlimited number of edocr accounts (our
record as of this writing is 17). Contributors are
other people that can upload documents to other
allowed edocr accounts as if they were the
owner.
You have complete control over who you allow to
contribute to your edocr account. You can
manage your account by: inviting new
Contributors by email, viewing the status of your
pending invitations, and removing Contributor
access.
Access contributor settings by clicking your
username in the upper right to open the menu
and selecting the “My Team” option.
The first section shows which users have access to your account as a
contributor. Invite a contributor by email and they will receive an email
invitation to access your account.
Under the Your Accounts section, you will also be able to see the
accounts on which you are a Contributor and accept or deny Contributor
requests as well as remove yourself as a Contributor.
Note: If you are setting accounts up for your
customers, log on to their account, then invite
your master account, then log on as the master
account and 'Accept' the invitation. So much
easier in the long run!
So, once you click on the Contributing Link, you
get a list of Profiles you are a Contributor to,
then just click “Represent”, and add content
under the assumed persona.
Under your dropdown menu on the right side of
the very top of your edocr page, you will now
see how to switch between your own Profile, or
the Profile you have selected to Contribute to:
To stop contributing, you can hit the “Stop
Representing” button, or if you have
multiple Contribution Accounts, select
another and switch to the next account.
To stop being a Contributor permanently, hit the right side 'X' (if done, you
will need to be re-invited to Contribute again).
This document is a googledoc (see how) and was added to the edocr
account by one of our Contributors!
