John Natsoulas
Presents "Three
Installations from the
East Bay" in Oakland
All three artists will present their newest works, each
working wonderfully in dialogue with the others.
Yoyo Hu is a 3D sculptor and fine
artist who creates expressions with
new technologies in 3D printing as
well as traditional ceramic techniques,
including mold making and slip
casting.
Yingling Lin is a ceramic sculptor based in San Francisco,
California.
She grew up in Taipei, Taiwan
where traditional pottery is well-
respected and deeply rooted.
Yingling's works have been exhibited at the Academy of Art
University in San Francisco, and she has worked on public
park murals.
Light plays a critical role in her
works that are a part of this very
special installation exhibition.
Seongmin Yoo is a Korean-born conceptual and installation
artist that now lives in America.
Known for her inventive use of space
and materials, her body of work
involves collage, painting, and
assemblage as well as a variety of
materials found in nature.
Daughter to the great Korean haiku poet, Boon Ok Han,
Seongmin often utilizes traditional Korean embroidery and
ink wash techniques.
Seongmin's work frequently deals
with spirituality, the body,
women's rights and the interaction
between her east and west
identities.
For our special hours in October, come see the incredible works
by these three artists every Saturday from 1-4pm.
Enjoy the beautiful space and the
powerful installation pieces! You won't
want to miss this incredible
opportunity to see these works by
these incredible women.
