Former & Active U.S. Service Members Urged
To Get Legal Help In 3M Earplug Case
If you believe your hearing was
damaged due to faulty
earplugs issued by the US
military, attorneys are still
accepting new clients.
Marlton, New-Jersey-based personal
injury attorneys Console and Associates
P.C. has launched a range of
complimentary consultative services for
US veterans and service members who
may have damaged hearing or tinnitus as
a result of faulty 3M earplugs.
Reported by Reuters as the
largest multi-district litigation
case in United States history,
some 240,000 current and
former service members have
filed lawsuits against 3M.
The cases involve
earplugs issued by the US
military between 2003 and
2015.
In response to the ongoing
matter, Console and
Associates can now assist
you if you believe you have a
valid claim.
Having partnered with a number of
specialist 3M attorneys throughout the
country, the firm will provide you with a
range of consultative support services
including an initial assessment of claims
and connecting you with legal
representation.
The current claims allege that 3M was
aware of the faulty design and continued
selling the earplugs to the US military,
and that soldiers who used the earplugs
believed they were adequately protected
against dangerous levels of noise when
they were not.
The recent case, cited above,
found 3M to be 62 percent
responsible for the resultant
hearing loss and tinnitus that
veteran Lloyd Baker suffered.
Despite some confusing
messages through various
channels that suggest otherwise,
Console and Associates’ recent
announcement included
assurances that the case is
legitimate and active.
The law firm's network of
partner attorneys is still
accepting new clients.
