Jason Carron, the head chef and owner of Post 1917,
transformed Reading's old post office into a fine-dining
restaurant earlier this year.
The eatery, which has a focus on
farm-to-table steaks, has now
been featured in the Boston Man
and Northshore Magazine.
The magazines praise Post 1917 with acknowledgments like offering a steakhouse
experience "worth getting lost in," a soulful atmosphere, and amazing food.
Post 1917, which opened in the spring of 2024, is chef
Carron's first own restaurant and brings together
decades of experiences from other restaurants.
Some of the items on the dinner menu include Chilean
sea bass, a 32 oz long-bone steak, and lobster tacos.
On the lunch menu, which is served on the restaurant's deck, you can indulge in dishes like lobster rolls,
filet medallions and refreshing drinks such as mai tai and margarita.
