Having been in the hospitality and restaurant industry for many
years, Tony and Ralph purchased the restaurant just before the
pandemic after considering opening a wine bar.
Tony and Ralph, along with Chef McLeod,
have been in the hospitality and restaurant
industry for many years, having worked
with several reputable establishments,
including Ruth's Chris, the Richmond Hill
Inn, and Husk Restaurant.
Avenue M is the only sommelier-owned restaurant in Asheville - a city
oversaturated with breweries - and stands out from the competition with its
large selection of wines and scratch kitchen.
Tony has a passion for hospitality
and a strong commitment to
bringing fine dining to the
neighborhood.
Since becoming a father of two, Tony has learned to
cultivate patience which has been a great asset in running
the restaurant.
The restaurant is family-
friendly and boasts a dog
patio.
