Monitoring Heart Health Remotely
through Facial Scans
Heart rate variability and the standard deviation of NN intervals
are two measures that are commonly used to assess heart health.
HRV is a measure of the variation in time between
heartbeats, while SDNN is a measure of the overall
variability in heart rate.
Both measures can be used to assess the health of
the cardiovascular system and to identify risk factors
for cardiovascular disease.
HRV is thought to be a good indicator of
the autonomic nervous system function,
which controls involuntary bodily
functions such as heart rate, blood
pressure, and respiration.
The ANS has two divisions: the
sympathetic nervous system, which
promotes arousal and stress response,
and the parasympathetic nervous
system, which promotes relaxation and
rest.
SDNN is thought to be a good indicator of overall heart
health.
It is a measure of the variability in heart
rate, which can be affected by factors
such as stress, physical activity,
medications, and underlying medical
conditions.
Elevated levels of SDNN have been
associated with increased risk of
cardiovascular disease.
HRV and SDNN has traditionally been measured using a variety of
methods, including electrocardiography, Holter monitoring, and
ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
From this scan
Dr. Sharon and his associates are able
to read the HRV-SDNN level, stress
level, blood pressure, heart rate,
respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation
percentage.
