ERTC Tax Credit Filing Application Deadline |
Eligibility Test & Fast Rebate
In 2021, both the Employee
Retention Tax Credit (ERTC)
and Paycheck Protection
Program (PPP) ended, but you
can still claim tax rebates for the
ERTC program.
An application process from
Free Tax Cash can be used to
file an amendment to your 941
returns, and specialist CPAs
can help to maximize your
rebates.
Employers who have already
received funds through the PPP
are still eligible for tax rebates
and can complete their claims
using the improved application
process.
 Having received funds
through the PPP will not
reduce the total amount you
can claim, which could be up
to $26,000 per W-2 employee.
Though both programs were
created with the CARES Act to
provide pandemic relief funds for
small businesses, there are
several important differences
between the PPP and the ERTC.
While the PPP provided loans
with restrictions on how the funds
could be spent, the ERTC tax
rebates do not need to be repaid
and can be spent with no
restrictions.
You may be eligible for a
rebate if you have fewer than
500 full-time employees on
average and suffered financial
losses during the pandemic.
This can include showing
reduced revenue compared to
previous years or having to limit
or suspend your business
because of government orders,
such as a lockdown.
To determine your eligibility,
take a free, no-obligation
assessment on the Free Tax
Cash website.
The eligibility test comprises
10 simple questions and
requires no proprietary
business information.
