Sir Bruno Serato, chef/owner
of Anaheim White House
and founder of the nonprofit
Caterina's Club, will be
honored with the 2024
President's Lifetime
Achievement Award for his
humanitarian efforts.
He is being recognized for feeding
Southern California's hungry kids, finding
permanent housing for families in need
and training at-risk youth for careers in
the hospitality field.
He will receive the award by a
representative for the President's
Council on Service and Civic
Participation on March 18 while
Serato will be serving the nonprofit's
10 millionth meal at his Anaheim
White House restaurant.
"I am more than honored
to receive this prestigious
award that has been
presented to so many
selfless individuals over
the past two decades,"
said Serato.
"I accept this honor with humility and gratitude and wish
to use this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers,
donors, supporters and others who have contributed to
continuing to fulfill Caterina's Club's mission of service."
