In the exhibition, Convergence, Myers explores diverse
interests in his colorful style, focusing on natural and
human-made environments and individuals'
relationships within them
Raised in a photojournalistic
family, with guidance from Ansel
Adams, Myers and his parents
amassed a vast visual archive of
images of the American West
Myers' own photographic works have been featured in numerous international
publications, and the presence of various cameras in his work reflects his extensive
experience
In his youth, Myers overcame dyslexia challenges,
by pursuing art courses, including with Wayne
Thiebaud, whose color palette inevitably
influenced the young artist.
Beginning to exhibit at 15 and debuting his first solo
exhibition at 19, Myers' early works blended Italian
Futurism and Mexican Muralists styles, which remain a
lasting influences
Today, his authentic and pioneering approach blends new and old media in multidisciplinary creations
that he shows in exhibitions across the country
