At This MicroMasters Program
Are you looking to become a data scientist, business analyst, or
modeling engineer? Do you want to get a hot profession that is
always in demand?
Sign up for the Georgia Institute of Technology's
MicroMasters Program on EdX, "Analytics: Essential
Tools and Methods"!
The program consists of 3 courses that cover analytics
models, programming principles, using Python and SQL,
and using data for business insights and improving
performance.
The first course, "Introduction to Analytics
Modeling", will take you 16 weeks and will
cover fundamental analytics models and
methods, including statistical models and
machine learning.
You'll learn to use models for
clustering, data smoothing,
validation, prediction, decision
making, and more.
The second course is "Computing for Data Analysis". This 15-week-long
introduction to basic programming principles will give you a hands-on experience
using modern analytical tools, including Python, R, and SQL.
"Data Analytics for Business", the 16-
week-long final course of the program,
focuses on the practical application of
data analysis tools and using business
data for making decisions.
If you successfully complete all three
courses and earn a verified certificate in
each, you will receive a MicroMasters
certificate.
