Fall time means it's home selling and
buying time in Oklahoma
This summer, home buyers
couldn't find homes and home
sellers had dozens and
dozens offers on their
properties.
Now in the fall with schools in
session and families nestling in
for the winter, home buyers and
sellers can expect less
competition and better inventory.
Local people who wanted to
trade up to a newer, nicer
home last summer found
themselves with little selection
and little value for a lot of
money.
For this reason, many did not
sell and did not buy, but
stayed in their present homes
until the market cooled and
selection increased.
The market has cooled.
Now is the time.
Now if these people try to sell, while
they may not get as much as they
could have for their house during the
summer, they are more likely to find
what they want while getting a better
value for their money.
People selling will be able
to find their next house
quicker ...
... and they'll be able to
compete for the next house
as well — something they
could not do during the
summer.
I hope this was
informational and helpful
for you.
