Put an end to those empty weekends - this new app will show
you all the best businesses and events going on in Chelmsford!
This latest charitable initiative is in partnership with Play It
Green, an organisation that plants native trees in Madagascar
to offset the company's carbon emissions and help fight climate
change.
Carbon offsetting is widely used by businesses and
individuals looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
Trees remove carbon dioxide from the
atmosphere and convert it to oxygen
through photosynthesis, thereby
reducing the effects of global warming.
By pairing with Play It Green, The
Chelmsford Guide are playing their
part in reducing their impact on the
planet.
As well as tree planting, part of the profit is donated to the homeless charity
Shelter, which is working to rehome people and end the impacts of the
housing emergency in the UK.
The Essex-based app aims to be the
'go-to' resource for Chelmsford
residents like you who want to find

local area.
The app is free to download and provides you with
information about local services, various events
occurring across the city, local radio stations,
community groups, youth organisations, and
volunteering opportunities.
The guide also contains a blog, regularly updated with information

The close-knit company was
created by Chelmsford residents
who grew up in the area.
