Nearly one in five women have
either left their jobs or
contemplated quitting as a direct
result of theirmenopause
symptoms.
In a workforce where women stand shoulder to shoulder with men,
driving economic progress, there's an unspoken challenge that
demands immediate attention.
Many women feel compelled to
conceal reproductive health
challenges, fearing they might be
perceived as weak or past their
prime.
Bureau of Labor Statistics reveals that 26% of the
workforce, or 41 million people, aremenopause-age women,
over 40 years of age.
Another study revealed that up to
40% ofmenopausal women report
experiencing weekly disruptions in
their work performance or
productivity due to their symptoms.

women can find a community and support.
A little over a year ago they
started This Is Perimenopause
with the goal of helping women
understand that they aren't alone.
Mikelle and Michelle are two compassionate entrepreneurs from Calgary,
Alberta and Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, who have come together to create a
supportive space for women undergoing menopause and perimenopause.
With a focus on addressing the often
unspoken aspects of perimenopause
and menopause, Mikelle and Michelle
aim to foster understanding and
connection among women.
